ROMANTIC AND ELEGANT OUTDOOR VIRGINIA WEDDING

JUSTIN + LIZ | WOMEN’S CLUB OF PORTSMOUTH WEDDING

I’m beyond thrilled and honored to share with you Liz + Justin’s romantic outdoor Virginia wedding, which can only be described as one of the most romantic and elegant weddings we have ever had the pleasure to photograph here in the Hampton Roads’ area.

Liz and Justin’s wedding day photos are beyond beautiful, we were blessed considering all the rain we’ve experienced in Hampton Roads area that we had sunshine and a warm breeze throughout the day.  Liz and Justin planned their wedding day celebration at the gorgeous The Women’s Club of Portsmouth surrounded by all of their loved ones.  

Liz had always dreamed about having an incredibly romantic wedding and her vision truly came to light, the entire Women’s Club room was filled with fresh beautiful flowers, vintage bulb lighting and of course one of the prettiest wedding cakes I’ve ever seen!  

Everything about her wedding was elegant, soft and of course beyond lovely, Liz made sure that every wedding detail including her lighting, drapery and the floral decor was intimate, inviting and gave the impression that love and romance would dominate the evening.  

I loved spending the afternoon with Liz and of course her amazing Mother, (who is just the sweetest woman I’ve ever met) and her incredible bridesmaids who have known Liz for years and have been through thick and thin together.  A special thank you to the lovely Stephanie, (Liz’s sister in law) who helped in every way possible make sure that Liz’s wedding photos looked beautiful!  I truly appreciated all your help! And of course I can’t begin to thank Liz’s amazing wedding planner, Stephanie Hope of Silver + Lace Weddings for orchestrating this gorgeous wedding!

Liz, you made the most BEAUTIFUL bride!  She looked stunning in her Casablanca Maya Couture gown. 

I have to admit, I was just slightly obsessed with her wedding photo details.  Her pearl bracelet is a family heirloom and these blooms + bouquets were created by talented Leslie Hartig Floral Design team. She and her team are just a pleasure to work with! 

A tender moment, Liz is reading the handwritten love note that Justin wrote to her. I love sentimental gestures like this. 

A few tender moments that took my breath away.  Liz bridesmaid’s were incredibly kind and so generous with their time and I so appreciated all their help in making Liz’s wedding day picture perfect!  I loved that Liz chose these super sweet and sparkly Betsey Johnson flats for her wedding day, and of course her feet thanked her too!  She was dancing the night away in these pretty little ballerina flats! 

Just a few more of Liz’s details that made my heart swoon!  Her bridesmaids looked beyond beautiful in their Jenny Yoo blush pink bridesmaid’s gowns. 

The ceremony was everything that Liz and Justin could have ever dreamed it would be, soft, romantic and of course filled with love and a few laughs, (Justin had a little difficulty with lighting the candles during the ceremony, the wind literally came out of nowhere!)

A special thank you to my amazing team Kristi Schneider and Elyse Sierra for all their help and support in making Liz and Justin’s wedding photos memorable and beautiful! And of course I cannot begin to thank and show my gratitude to the incredible team of vendors that Liz + Justin selected for their wedding.  Everyone made this day beautiful and perfect quite possibly the sweetest couple ever!
