KRISTA + RYAN | SHIFTING SANDS VIRGINIA BEACH WEDDING
I’m so incredibly blessed and honored to share Krista + Ryan’s intimate and elegant Virginia Beach wedding with you! Their wedding took place at Shifting Sands Resort on the Dam Neck Naval Base in Virginia Beach. Although we had some unpredictable weather to contend with, this did not stop the gorgeous wedding these two shared with all their family and friends at their side. Krista looked positively radiant in her Essence of Australia, Maya Couture wedding dress and her gorgeous bouquet and wedding details were playful and sweet. Oh! How I loved Krista’s choice in wedding shoes, they were glittery gold Badgley Mischka pumps that paired perfectly with her stunning lace wedding dress! Krista looked beyond beautiful thanks to the incredible ladies at Behind The Veil Salon! I loved every moment with Krista + Ryan documenting their gorgeous wedding day photos!
As many of you know, Ryan is a big footfall fan! He was sure in for a treat when it came time to garter toss, since Krista had her garter specially made featuring Ryan’s football team!
We were all crossing our fingers and saying a prayer or two for sunshine and for the rain to hold off at least until the reception began. The wedding day began with sunny skies but as we came closer and closer to the wedding, and Mother Nature decided differently. We braved rain, winds, thunderstorms and possible tornadoes. Yes, I said tornadoes.
Luckily, nothing, even the worst weather possible for a wedding day could hamper the love these two shared, and nothing could stop them from having the most beautiful and intimate wedding. Today was Krista and Ryan’s wedding day, and we braved the rain and the chance of tornadoes to step outside and capture a few wedding and couple photos on the beaches at Dam Neck, Virginia Beach. Krista + Ryan couldn’t help but be all smiles- they were now married and were incredibly sweet and overjoyed!
We spent a few precious minutes together on the beach, with all their family and friends close by encouraging and overjoyed that they were there to witness and be apart of the wedding festivities for Krista + Ryan.
