Pegah + Joel wanted their Portsmouth engagement session to blend everything they love and share together, their love of fashion, beauty and travel was what led us to Anderson Rooms & Gardens for their engagement photos. This stunning property boasts manicured gardens, fountains and the Old World architecture that you would see while strolling the streets of Paris, France or touring the Southern French countryside. This was the perfect place for their romantic engagement session. We wanted this Parisian inspired engagement session to evoke a sense of beauty, wonder and romance with a fine art photography feel.

Walking hand in hand Pegah + Joel toured the property and I had the pleasure of photographing these gorgeous engagement photos. They were naturals in front of the camera and their love for each other was effortless and playful. Joel continued to make both Pegah and myself laugh throughout our entire engagement session.

This venue has the look and feel of Paris,France with it’s enchanting manicured gardens, statues and old world architecture. The vibe is romantic, ethereal and truly a one of a kind venue in the heart of Portsmouth, Virginia.

Pegah looked positively beautiful in her Dillard’s cream colored lace gown. Pegah, I can’t begin to tell you how much I love your fashion style! I was swooning when I saw her gown choices for the engagement session! She looked stunning in each one!
